Humility :  freedom from pride or arrogance: the quality or state of being  humble. Psalm 25:9 (NIV) He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV) Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,  not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. When we don’t do things out of selfish ambition or vain conceit God guides us in what is right. If we consider others in our day-to-day lives, in decisions and actions God will guide us in what is right. If we not only look to our interest but also look out for others, God will guide us into what is right. We were first introduced to many of the things in this world by the world or by our family parents or friends. So when we become a Christian and start to follow Christ, our minds need to be renewed. He needs to change our perspectives so we can see things from His perspective and understand and look at things through the eyes of faith and not doubt and fear. We need to look at people through His eyes and love them through His love. Understand success from His perspective and point of view. This is why we need to seek Him first, His kingdom, and His righteousness.
